Someone broke a foot hold at the start of the climb. One small notch for left foot was trimmed away . So it makes it (in my opinion) now impossible to make the move to lift the right foot to reach the hole/undercling for your right hand. Please post here if someone can still climb this route.

#Gianfranco - the climb is still possible ! (barely). Eugenie and I both climbed this (16Nov) with some tricky footwork at the beginning (Eugenie worked out the beta). Think some of the rock at the start is still friable, but should clean up with more traffic. Great route / 3 stars

Hi Johann, thanks for your reply....look forward to redpointing it again without the broken foothold..

Linked In, Blacked Out, 7b
The hardest climb on the crag and a particularly difficult start and finish. Start by a tree, slightly up slope from a rock flake at the base of the wall. Step onto the wall and gingerly step right below the first bolt. Precarious, hard moves past the second bolt gain a crucial finger pocket for the right hand above. Reach left, and haul up onto the obvious undercut flake then force the groove above on improving holds to a rest next to a horizontal break. Stretch left across the wall to gain a good side hold and join the finish of The Missing Link(7b)

This 7b can be climbed more challenging WITHOUT touching the groove on the right past the third bolt just following the line of bolts without reaching right and obviously without the comfortable rest. If you add to this a straight finish without using the holds of " The Missing Link" than it comes out a superb 7B+
