Off the Hook

The unexpected continues. Had glanced at this face nearly every time I've been up here, figured the v2 face wasn't worth the funk landing and had likely already been climbed. Kory asked about it today prompting me to go peek my head under the back of the roof, only to find a magical mini-flake hold that makes the whole problem work. Had to rearrange a few rocks under the start to pretend I leveled out the landing, then called Chill and Rush over for some pads ... only to to get swiped! A worthy addition to Fern Creek. Please nobody break their neck. Hard 7? Powerful move to release the feet from the toe hooks.

360 beta to avoid holding the swing over the precipice! Really fun to work this one out. You can top out the right side of the overhanging face with a left hand side pull jug over the lip and lurch to a horizontal edge on the slab, brush holds from the ramp first!
