Starting from the lower tier adds a tricky boulder problem to the route. This is where the original line used to sit before the tiers where added to help control erosion. Starting from the upper tier and stepping left reduces the grade to 5.11+.

This rig starts hard and gets easier the higher you get. I surprised myself with this send - sticking the starting boulder problem and climbing through the 5.11 edging up to the the "beehive" rest. Fun route!
