Le terre emerse

an arête of slick conglomerate polished by the river overhangs a shallow pool; the climbing requires a fair bit of precision in the movements and good use of the feet to maximize the weight put on the slippery footholds. As is the case with many of the climbs in this sector the proud line is only part of what justifies the pretty long approach; the scenary is stunning with all of the pools and waterfalls that characterize this stretch of the torrent. If you visit in summer I would recommend to bring with you a swimsuit to cool down after a climb with a dip into the water.
