Northwest Ridge, 5
Easiest route up Trakta (Litlkorsnestinden) following the nortwest ridge.
First ascended in 1910 by Alf Bonnevie Bryn, Ferdinand Schjelderup and Carl Wilhelm Rubenson.
One of the most inaccessible mountains in Norway. The hardest to summit.
A few pitches of clean rock (N6- for the crux). The rest involves a steep snowfield and soggy moss covered faces, an easy but very slippery and loose pitch, one very easy but very exposed and severe pitch. Descent the same as the ascent. Several rappels required.
No ascents logged.
