This has been a year in the making. I initially found this boulder the first day my buddy and I discovered the area. Since then I've been a slave to it training the body and mind to one day send this without rope. Today was the day! Super technical, very balancy, and very high! A true test piece of the forest!

Had to clear some fallen debri but well worth it. Quite a nice line. A committing top out!

Probably wasn't worth cleaning but I did it anyway. Much harder if your tall. Pulling off the ground and hitting that flake was desperate!

For a small overhanging arete this has lots of value. Fun!

I'd been working this one for a few sessions now. The hand and footwork need to be so precise. This is a brilliant little masterpiece. Very hard for a 4 though!

An interesting pinchy start with a series of hand bumps on minimal holds leads to a hard top out. Definitely makes you think!

Rawrrr was heard on the top out. A powerful move at the end!

Technical, powerful, pumpy climbing at it's best. Reminds me of Chocolate Aftertaste High with the crux at the beginning.

Re-bolted. Loose blocks before the first bolt. A nice technical sequence, leads to a strong, committing third bolt above the roof. Don't fall while clipping or else you're hitting the ground! Technical slab at the top. Highly recommend for serious leaders!

Runs like a boulder problem. Powerful moves down low lead to a committing dyno at the top. This is a seriously cool climb!

The name says it all. Problem starts half way up the boulder. Lots of body tension to get onto the horizontal crack then technical face climbing to the top! Easy top out. Word of warning, it's high!

An unattractive rather large crack that just had to be climbed!

Thought provoking top out! Fresh piss behind me at the sit start. Not a pleasant smell!

Pinchy goodness. A rather strong move too! Finding that left heel is crucial in making the pinch move a controlled one.

I think my heart skipped a beat or two on the top out when a footer broke. Managed to stay on though and successfully top out!

Using only the crack for hands and feet definitely makes things a little bit more airy up high!

Went down very easy! Very nice flat wall technical crimper climbing down low leads to an OK finish. My first clean lead at grade 23 at Car Crash!

Different climbing. A nice move getting past the first roof leads to a beautiful sequence going from the third bolt to the chains! Escaping right on the RHV is a cheap shot!

Retrieving draws.

After a long battle with this climb it is finally in the bag! Clean lead while placing draws. Felt very strong on this today. I really don't know what all the fuss was about!

Warm up. Hadn't gotten on this in a while. Perfect sequence. Felt rather easy!

This climb is AWESOME!!! A journey which will leave you wet and sticky from pure excitement!

Warm up! There is a wasp nest with 3 paper wasps just to the left of this line. Stung Garth three times while climbing 'Smearing on Mount McKinley'.
