The "Stive Dempere shelf": "Ayatollah" (8a+), "Marathon" (8b), "Draumkvedet" (8c) and "Stive Dempere" (8a+). Marathon and Stive Dempere are classics from the 1980s.

"Matrimonio" (7b+) and "Susi's sovepose" (7b+) - vertical climbing on crimps.

Looking down the "Edle stener"-route: An overhanging and bouldery route on thin crimps and sidepulls. Smears for the feet. You need a combination of technique and power.

At the "Stive Dempere shelf". In the 1980s this wall had some of the hardest sport routes in Norway. The climbing is a combination of technique and finger power. View towards "Ayatollah" (8a+) and "Latvia" (8b+).

North ridge of the Dome de Gouter (4303m), Chamonix. The ridge is in the middle of the picture. The "Grand Mulet route" follows the glacier to the left of the ridge. The route passes underneath the seracs in the upper left of the picture.

Breithorn (4164m) north face. The route to the summit follows the ridge to the right in the picture.

Dinner at the gite after sport climbing in "Ceuse".

The "Ceuse" crag, close to Gap in France. A crag at 2000m altitude and one of the best and most popular crags in Europe during summer.

Steep, well protected and beautiful "Tenere F7c+", Cascade, Ceuse. A 35m overhanging endurance route on "big" holds.

The top ridge on Mt. Blanc (4808m) towards "Aiguille de Bionnassay" 4,052m

The exposed but well protected "6c+ pitch" on "Pichenibule F6c+".
