2nd try. very solid 7c if you climb on the right at the last bolt (lots of chalk). escaping to the left, over the bulge, makes it a lot easier for me (no chalk). climbed the right hand version

very long, nice finish. bad quality rock in the middle. wear a helmet as a belayer and pay attention

not a give away, good rock

nice climbing and good bolts :) quite easy for me, until you reach the bouldery crux just before the chains

bolts need to be replaced, quite rusty. climbing is good though! had lots of chalk and tickmarks on it. first real 7c onsight. yeay :)

top part is 3*, the lower part is a bit dirty, still very worthwhile route

2nd try this season, one try last season. great line, hard fingerlocking and thin hands. Also climbed Orlando 7c and a second RP of Linda Poco Linda, trad 6c+ on the same day :D

yes! perfect conditions today and a mega fight to haul my ass up through the second crux through those letters. perfect conditions today. for sure the hardest I have tried being so close to fall off for several moves, but somehow not falling off. Thanks Graeme for encouraging me to give the last try from the ground and not from sitting in the rope :) probably not the hardest of the hardest 8b around, but for me harder than the other long established 8b in the valley (Hopp oder Flopp) so I think the grade is justified. (note to self Had to tweak my beta one last time. After the hardest move, i. e. bringing the left hand into the undercling/sidepull raise the left leg to the 8cm higher foothold and only then go with the right hand to the sloper)

2nd try. -3 degrees and no sun. So cold

i startet as far left as possible on two small crimps, legs basically underneath the boulder. thats how I understand the paper topo book that we had. In the book the traverse called Hurrigrutten here is called Fire and Fox, 7A. didn't feel like 7A though. more like 6c/+.

not sure about date. did it in 2022 summer I think. second try I think. very soft 7c+, more like 7c, but very nice. repeat alzheimer flash on 10/2023
