2nd go. Bailed to the chimney on the onsight go. Top was a bit spooky for me but it’s ok once you know the beta. Really cool overhanging climbing for the grade

Climbed it without the arete. Technical moves on the face on small crimps and pockets (monos). Would be 3 stars for me without being a eliminate

Tricky vertical arete and then a delicate slab with a runout at the end. Had to work the arete a bit to find a good beta but got it in a couple of tries in the end.

Red point/on sight. I’ve done the shared start before when I did the 6b+ routes next to it, but the rest of the route was on sight. Really fun jug hauling!

2nd go. The slightly overhanging technical arete has some great climbing on it! Really enjoyable for me

Did the technical boulder start. The arete is really fun climbing! With the boulder 6b+ is ok. If you skip it I think it’s soft

Not my favorite tufa route of all time but still worth a star if only for the looks. Chimneying and laybacking in this one. The extension looked pretty cool. Maybe next time?

The first few meters was like climbing on dual-texture holds without the part with friction. After that nice face climbing

Checked it on top rope first. The exposure was something I had never experienced before. Added to that some vultures flying close by made for a memorable experience! Highly recommended!

Didn’t find the right beta on the onsight try. 2nd try felt solid. Nice but very short

3rd go. What a route! Super steep 3d climbing on stalactites and tufas. The crux took some work but found a cool sequence for it. A classic for sure!

2nd go. Close on the onsight. Excellent tufa climbing all the way. Also almost got the extension too but needed to be more fresh and fell two times after the crux. Didn’t enjoy the crux of the extension which was quite painful the way I did it

Great climbing especially the end half but there were 3 very rusty bolts in the middle. Also the route has some runouts near the end on not so trivial terrain. Should have been 2nd go but ropedrag got so bad that I couldn’t clip the last bolt. Belaying from the ledge and extended draws helped

YES!!! A dream route for me! I Didn’t expect to send it this go but somehow it just went perfectly. Such a cool line and the hardest I’ve climbed. 4th session 8th try

2 sessions. Should have done it in a day but managed to fall 2 times after the crux close to the end taking a huge whipper on the other try. Send go felt solid and surprisingly not that pumpy knowing the moves. Great route!

2nd go. Should have onsighted this one but gave up too easily. Excellent climbing on the overhang and it can get pumpy if you’re not fast enough.

Nice one for the grade! Fun upper half

A cool line with a long continuous crux which was very pumpy for me. A bit of a victim of its own success being quite polished now and feeling especially greasy in humid conditions. Spent way too many tries on it falling 5 times at the last move of the crux. Not easy for me! Happy to get it done!

2nd go. A great route with gym style bolting and power endurancy climbing! My 600th route!

2nd go. Super good tufa climb! Felt maybe a bit soft after learning the moves.

2 sessions. Managed to fall once on the top slab being too pumped. Barely reached the chains on the next go. Psyched to send this Odyssey classic especially it not really being my style!

Polished and also sharp in places

Tried this on a previous trip but pumped out in the end. Went 2nd go this time around after figuring the moves just before dark. Getting quite polished but good climbing nonetheless. Pumpy!

Tried this in 2016 and couldn't link the crux. Now it didn't feel too bad. Also tried the extension but didn't have time to find the moves for the crux before the sun hit the wall. Cool route!

2 sessions. My first 7c! Excellent varied route with moves ranging from powerfull and fingery to also some pumpy climbing on tufas. Really happy to send it!

3rd go. Should have been 2nd go but foot slipped on the crux. Fun climbing with mostly good holds but still pumpy. Tricky slippery crux

The tufa was nice. Crux felt greasy in today’s humid conditions

2 sessions 4th go. What a line! Some parts felt more like wrestling than climbing. Quite a pumpfest for me even with all the rests on the way. Barely made it through the end part even though I was surprisingly fresh out of the roof.

2nd go. Messed up the crux on the onsight. Felt good on the second try. Quite nice technical moves.

This one is extremely polished which kind of destroys the experience. In its current state I think it could be 7a? Has some nice moves on the overhang anyway. Happy to be able to fight through it to get the flash

4th go. One of those climbs where I really disliked the crux until I finally sent it and ended up liking it. A bit of a low percentage move for me there.

2nd go. The end around the tufa is really cool! What a great day with three 7a's

I think I've tried this on a previous trip. Went on 2nd go this time. Had to really try hard on the powerfull beginning. Not my style so happy to send it. My 100th 7a or harder tick

What an amazing line! My hardest yet? Very varied climbing ranging from techy fingery moves to endless tufas high up. Super pumpy for me! Took 2 sessions. 7b+ in the 2019 guidebook so most likely not my first 7c?

2nd go. Quite sustained in parts with long (morpho?) moves between good holds and then some techy climbing on pockets and poor feet. Solid 7a+ in my opinion

Varied climbing from technical pocket pulling to slightly overhanging jug hauling. Quite good but ropedrag was really bad in the end so use of long draws in some key places is recommended

2nd go. Techy crux and enjoyable tufa climbing

The humidity made the tufas extra slippery today! Nice pumpy route with a cool sequence on the crux if you dont bail to the left. Solid for the grade if you stay on the line.

Tried this once in 2016. Went first go this time. Quite nice little tufa route with a clear crux

2nd go. Extension to Steven up. Excellent tufa climbing except for the crux. 2019 guidebook grade 7a which feels about right

2nd go. Quite good even with some wet holds. I don’t understand why the Kalymnos guidebook only gives it one star

Cool route finishing above the arch of the cave. A bit uneven but the end has some excellent moves. The view indeed is nice!

This one was a real struggle for me! It took three sessions and multiple goes and I still felt very pumped on the crux runout. Sent it just before dark and not properly seeing foot holds in the end added some extra excitement.. Very cool tufa line. One of the best in Finale I've climbed! Felt quite hard for the grade but then again that applies to most routes in Finale

Tried this a couple of years ago and couldn't get through the first crux. This time got it done quickly. Feet cut loose at the second crux but managed to hold on. Great route! Was quite pumped at the end

2nd go. First a slab and then a roof. A fun dyno at the roof and then pumpy climbing to the chains

Looks like a 6a but there's a hard continuous crux there which requires strong fingers

Nice short tufa route. Maybe a bit hard for the grade but these kinds of powerfull short routes are my anti style so who knows. Not as polished as some others I've tried here.

Among the best routes I've climbed! Excellent slightly overhanging climbing that goes on and on! Took two sessions but went on the first proper go today after taking up the draws. Extended draws help with the ropedrag.

2nd go. Steep climbing on surprisingly juggy holds. Really should have onsighted this. A few holds are a bit crumbly at the beginning of the overhang.

Climbed the two pitches as one. Nice looking line which is clearly visible from the parking spot. Unfortunately the first part is quite polished. Also the route has some runouts.

A Finale classic! Great looking line! Surprised myself by doing it in a day after working the crux moves felt super hard. Everything went perfect on the red point but I was still very pumped at the end. Crux section is quite technical.

The main goal for today was the 7a+ extension but fell three times just before the anchor. Next time! L1 is ok slab climbing. The extension is three star climbing for sure!

2nd go. Hard crux for the grade

Varied climbing from thin slab to overhanging long moves. The route is a lot more continuous compared to macumba on the left and felt hard for me due to my terrible power endurance condition post lockdown. Very happy to send it. Great route!

Short and technical slab whics requires good footwork and finger strength. Also tried L2 but was put off by the chossy looking end.

Hard technical boulder in the beginning that took some work. I really liked the steep upper part of the route. Nice and exposed.

This one also has some chipped holds but was so much fun that I can reccommend it. Delicate slab and a powerfull crux and some continuous wall climbing on small holds. Foot slipped near the top but I was luckily able to hang on the crimps and get to the chains.

I climbed all the way to the top as one pitch. In retrospect because of the rope drag it wasn't the best idea. Despite that the third pitch was amazing with nice exposure!

First route after lockdown. Crux felt tricky

Tried this a few years ago and couldn’t figure out the crux. Now it went quite smoothly. Good moves but some of the pockets are quite sharp.

Tried this on my first trip to Val Pennavaire a few years ago and failed. This time I still had to work the crux but managed to finally send it. Fun moves and hard bouldery crux on polished feet.

Excellent tufa climbing all the way! Theres a really funny rest. 2nd go. Watch out, the 2nd bolt is missing a hanger and you would probably deck if you fell at the third bolt.

An ok easier route in the cave

Power endurancy for me. Had to work the crux section a bit before being able to send. Managed to fall after the crux on my 3rd go being just too pumped to continue. Felt solid on the next go. Happy to send this Kalymnian classic!

Its polished and slippery but also manages to be sharp at the same time. Not a great combination in my opinion. Other than that the moves were nice.

2nd go. Classic panorama tufa adventure with a technical lower part. Keeps you occupied for the entire 40 meters. Very pumped in the end. Hard 7a+/ soft 7b for me

First 7b+ for me! Excellent route that has it all. Powerful moves, delicate climbing on crimps and small pinches to pumpy overhanging tufa climbing.

Sharp start and hard cruxy end. Not a good warmup. Some nice delicate moves earns it one star. Felt hard for 6b+

New route right of Lubna not in the 2017 Finale topo. Hard fingery crux in the begining. Quite continuous. 2nd try

Good route for the grade! Lower part steeper and gets more slabby higher up. Only route of the day because of rain.

Excellent resistance climbing and a bouldery crux. The local guidebook grade 6c+ felt right.

Warmup of the day and the only thing I managed today. Everything else I tried on this sector felt really hard. Could have been the +30C heat?

Really close to onsighting this (fell on last hard move before a good rest). Almost fell on the 2nd try also but was able to stay on. Pumpy exposed climbing with big moves between good holds on overhanging terrain. Highly recommended!

2nd go. Really nice and not too polished like some others at this sector. Overhanging in the first half getting less steep higher up. Varied climbing with some juggy climbing but also some more technical sections. Really enjoyed this one!

Had some trouble with the lower crux that took some work. Really nice exposed resistance route with some delicate climbing mixed in. Pumpy!

A lot of bolts

Climbed the 2 pitches as one (80 meter rope). Rope drag wasn't too bad with a few extended draws. The top part is excellent climbing for the grade!

This one was a fight with a awkward beginning for me and a hard continuous crux that I had to work hard for. I ended up having to tape some fingers due to sharp pockets destroying my skin. Also managed to fall after the crux once, being too pumped to clip before finally red pointing it on the next go. Nice one! Not soft for me

Vertical start leads to delicate slab climbing on pockets. Felt a bit hard for 6a? Not bad

Excellent pocket pulling! Felt more like a 6b+ to me, especially comparing to grading in other routes at Finale

2nd go. Not a fan of the bolting on this one. Other than that it was nice delicate climbing on small holds. Might be a bit of a sandbag? Had also a go at the 7b extension and was able to do the moves with some hangs. Maybe next time.

Technical stuff with small pockets and delicate feet in the crux sections. Good route!

2nd go. Good varied climbing! First overhanging and then delicate slightly slabby wall climbing. Both parts good

Last climb of the trip! Nice exposure in the end. Excelent climbing on the tufa and then a crux before the end. Not in 2017 guide book. The route starts right of tifone and ciclone on the separate wall and bridges to the cave in the middle of the route to some tufas.

Fun in the sun. Great route with tufas, jugs and also a few crimps mixed in.

Fun climb and very good for the grade. Felt like a 6b for me. Could have been the sunny conditions though
