With proper sitstart it still felt way too soft to be 7A. Great boulder though

It can certainly be done without, but it seemed safest to use the tree for the finishing part of the top-out.

It was probably 6A before the sandstone got polished…

Probably the most fun I’ve had on a boulder. The top out adds some nice, physical moves on an already brilliant roof problem. Had a good time brushing off moss to find new holds to do the top, and the mantle itself was rather tricky. I’m having a hard time grading this, as I found it quite a bit harder than the original Cave Man, but the holds are good and I found the right sequence rather quick. Somewhere between 7A+ and 7B+.

Took a couple of tries to figure out the beta, but when I put my right heel just to the right of my hands, the starting move went down without much trouble

Nice start! Did it with only the high right foothold. I considered the low feet used in the beta videos to be out of bounds…

Powerful moves, and quite beta-intensive, for me at least.

3rd try I think. The best of the grade in the area!

Fin lille lowball

Fed boulder. Er lidt usikker på graden, men den er ikke 7C+ ved mindre at jeg overser en helt vildt kompliceret siddestart

Super fin lowball. 7B+ virker godt nok lidt overdrevet.

Pretty sure it’s a sit start

Started with left hand in crimp at horizontal crack, right hand on slope in the vertical crack. Then deadpointed straight for the good hold. Was fun, but probably not the easiest beta.
