DRIVING AND PARKING
Take the D8 from Tarascon-sur-Ariège, and in Niaux take a turn to the right marked «Alliat». Drive across the bridge and follow the road to the town of Alliat and the Mayor's office ("Mairie"). Park next to the Mairie.
APPROACH
To access the crag from Alliat Mairie, pass the public toilet & water tap /cycling area tap and take a right to cross the green bridge. Follow the path and signs to «Grotte de la Vache». At the top of the path, the first sector of hte crag «Grotte aux Fées» is on your left. To access the rest of the sectors, follow the same path further. A sign pointing to your left will indicate the path to sector «Spoulgas». Continuing the path even further, you will come to an intersection with the wider path turning to the left and a narrower path proceeding downhill. The wide path left will take you to the cave «Grotte de la Vache» and the path downwards will take you to the rest of the sectors. A small pile of rocks on the left will market the intersection for the small path to sector "La Loubetiere". Further down, a rock with «Murailles» painted on it will indicate the correct intersection for sectors «Passe Murailles» and «Mille Roc and Dolmen». The path to Mille Roc and dolmen might be quite overgrown.
