🧗♀️⛰ The climbing sector Alveare is a top destination for those who enjoy climbing grades between 6a and 7a. Luckily there are also three 5a routes to let kids and beginners enjoy climbing something easy.
The limestone at l’Alveare is not as soft and smooth as in other sectors. Most of the routes have sharp and pointy features, scraping the skin from your fingers in just a few attempts.
🌞 BEST SEASON
The wall at l’Alveare faces southeast, and so is lit up from early morning to late afternoon. Therefore, it is a perfect winter climbing destination, but steaming and inaccessible during the summer months.
🚶♂️🚶♀️ ACCESS
There is not much to walk from the road to the climbing sector l’Alveare. Anyhow, there’s not much parking space either. Only one car can fit in the small parking space at the start of the path. Higher cars can even park inside the bend of the road, but that’s very brave… For those who don’t want to get risks, it’s better to park on top of the road, on the other side of the hill (less than 10 minute's walk).
