Description

"Anebo - Super Ape" has a collection of granite boulders close together with quality problems around 6B to 7A. There are a couple of nice technical slabs and also harder overhanging problems.

Recommended problems
⭐ Dub Along (6B) - A nice slab.
⭐ Super Ape (6B)
⭐ The Black Ark (6C) - Traverse along an excellent sloper edge.
⭐ Small Axe (SDS 7A, Stand 6B)

There are also project of various difficulty waiting for ascents, for example at the boulder "Kepsen".

Best season is usually spring. When developed the boulders were in a dense forest but since 2022 they are in a clear-cut with sun exposure during the day. The landings are mostly good, but it is never a bad idea to have an extra pad. Most of the boulders are easy to climb down from.

Don't forget to also visit "Anebo - Karelin" and "Anebo -Manickmannen" which both are close by.

Anebo - Super Ape

The area is access sensitive!

🏡 There is a house with a stable and horses 🐎 close by so keep a low profile!

Anebo is a 25 minutes drive from Kalmar via Tvärskog and Långaström. From Långaström it's just 5 minutes.

🚘 If you start from Kalmar: Take E22 towards Malmö. Follow signage towards Tvärskog. When reaching Tvärskog turn towards Nybro and after driving through Tvärskog turn left to Långaström. Follow signage towards Alsjöholm.

🚘 If you start from Nybro: Take road 25 towards Kalmar and follow the signs towards Tvärskog. After passsing Högebo take a right turn towards Alsjöholm.

🚘 If you start from Påryd: Drive road 520 towards Kalmar then turn to Runtorp. After 6 km, at the three way crossing in Betekulla, turn left towards Alsjöholm.

🅿️ When reaching Anebo (about 2.6 km after you passed Långaström) continue for another 950 meters and there is a forest road on the left hand side of the road to park (do not block the forest road).

🚶 From the parking, cross the paved road and follow the old tractor tracks north/north-west. About 100 meters after you passed the old clearing for powerlines the boulders are on your right.

To prevent access issues please:
• Follow "Allemansrätten".
• Be very careful to not hurt tree plants or other sensitive vegetation.
• Drive carefully and park where you don't block access for other vehicles.
• Do not litter.
• Keep a low profile.
• Remove tick marks and excessive chalk on holds.
• Be observant of any hunting in the area. If there is hunting going on then do not climb. Avoid the area during the first week(s) of elk hunting season which starts October 8.
