Best season is spring and autumn. At "Rennerfels" you get sun at late afternoon. the other sectors are quite shady and in deep coniferous forest but the East facing section of "Schlupflochfels". Here the Forest has been cleared recently.

"Rennerfels" stays dry in rain and is quite exposed. The fastest drying sector is the east facing section of "Schlupflochfels". Furthermore "Zamonien" and "Fuchsbau" is the most susceptible for ^moisture.

Sector "Rennerfels" is very suitable for lazy climbers who still want to climb in higher grades. Access time is zero and climbing is steep and powerful mostly on crimps or sloping pockets though the rock quality is not perfect.
The opposite Sectors offers much better rock quality and more endurance climbing on pockets and jugs.

"Rennerfels" is actually very suitable for kids but the close street that is misused as a race track by motorcycles at weekends. Better watch your kids in case they like to run around.
"Schlupflochfels" is quite good with kids as well like the access is for buggy.
Total unsuitable is "Pornowand" and "Gangsta*s Paradise".
