Boissy aux Cailles
A small village in-between some bigger places. This guide includes the areas that have the same parking at the Cemetery. The main area features the mega classic Hip hop boulder with some real 5 star gems on it! Besides this, you can find plenty of other things to do. In the summer it's shaded by massive leaf trees giving you a tropical light trough the beautiful tree umbrella above you. Follow the a road for about 200m, when you reach the forest on the right side of the road, keep your eyes open for an obvious small path leading into this magical place. You should end up just in front of The wrestler.
For the boulders just above the church, walk in on the left of the church, and you will get to a good path leading directly into these boulders.
Boissy Le Plaid is to the east following the big path for around 300 meters. This is a small cluster of quite big boulders. There are high quality lines in all grades up to 8A around here.
Boissy Vallée de l'Église is diagonally over the football field, follow an obvious path taking you a bit right and then upwards the hill. Here you can find the famous Water Roof and a few others around boulder, but besides that Micromegas boulder will offer plenty to do which is found about 60m more east just below the ridge.
All of these areas might offer something for someone with a will to open new lines.. there is definitely some potential around these rocks!
The area can be seen as family friendly but not always stroller friendly. There is also a nice picnic park (Boulder "Playground").
The reception varies from good to not that good, so downloading offline the guide is recommendable.
