Bräcke is a small area with a considerable amount of compact granite boulders located in Hisingen, in the north-west part of central Gothenburg. The easy accessibility, the short distance between the boulders and the variety of climbing makes this place very attractive for all types of climbers. Here you can find everything from delicate slabs, technical vertical climbing to powerful overhangs of different sizes. Most of the boulders are friction dependent so it's recommended to climb in colder seasons.
Park at the end of Åskvädersgatan in the Bräcke industrial area. Follow a narrow asphalt path under the power lines approx. 100 m up you turn left onto the dirt road (jogging track). Continue (approx. 5 min) on the path. You will come up on the platform. the area starts at the Y intersection.
