The coast of the Balagne is rocky and offers a lot of climbing areas.
Barrette area is one of them, having a huge orange wall and some other boulders. The rock features a nice granite with many cracks. A lot of combinations can be climbed here, it is all in your fantasy and inspiration!
On this topo we report a tens of problems from 3 to 7A, but there are endless possibilities that will not leave you disappointed.
Meteorological conditions are quite good all year, landings are good.
The view over Calvi and the Balagne coast is beautiful.
Calvi is well known thanks to its cultural events as Festiventu and the Jazz festival, but also to the nice beaches and the clean sea.
To better appreciate the climbing, try to have the least possible impact on the territory. Wild camping is forbidden, do not make fires, take back all your garbage, do not spoil the vegetation.
