Far away from the crowds and civilization in general lies an idyllic place for bouldering. Exploring and having a good time alone with your friends into the nature. Though not very far away from Buzau city, its remote position behind steep mountains guarantees you an intimate wild climbing experience and the possibility of trying hard without having any social constraints.
The entire sandstone area was first discovered by Stefan B. around 2010. The main sectors at Ciresu were discovered by Vali C. in February 2019 and subsequently developed with the help of Daniela S. and Cristi C.
There are two separate boulders in the forest, one being named "Tiktaalik, 7C", which was cleaned and climbed by George M. and Andrei N., and one boulder with multiple routes being dubbed "Tatal lor", which was cleaned and climbed by Vali C. and Daniela S. starting August 2020.
As of 2022, considering the remoteness and the lack of traffic, the crag is still slowly under development and the potential is far from being exhausted.
