Description
Primarily a local's crag, there is no way the Clegir can compete with the substantial mountain neighbours in the pass; which is a shame really as were this crag to be a few miles south, it would make a great addition to the circuit.
Granted, there aren't that many lines here but what there is has high quality and some good moves. Bring some spare skin though, those crimps can be sharp!
There's plenty more rock around to be explored too, although don't expect many first ascents. With the proximity to local climber's hubs of Llanberis and Cwm y Glo, these boulders have long since been teeming with climbers for decades. And that history adds somewhat to the allure of the Clegir boulders.
