Coltura is a beautiful crag in the Giudicarie area. It's very easy to find as the parking is just below the routes and hence approach is non existing. For the most left sector it takes about 5 minutes walk.
The routes are varied and from short and powerful overhanging power routes to easier multi pitches. The wall is mainly vertical and little bit overhanging with some slab and overhanging parts. One can find all kinds of grades here but especially those who prefer 6th and 7th grade will find plenty of routes here. As there's some loose rock still around, wearing a helmet in this sector is recommended.
Despite the road the crag is not too noisy and the views are magnificent. The cliff base is flat and has some picnic tables too, making this a good crag to visit with children too.
As it's a south facing wall the best time to visit Coltura is in the spring and autumn.
