No special access issues
From Trieste, take road SS14 direction Sistiana (NW). Drive about 14km and park at the natural Gallery. There is space on both sides of the gallery but the South side is a bit better. Follow either one of the trails, look for signs if small via ferratas which will bring you down.
The approach is not long but not suitable for small children.
