No special access issues
The topos in this crag combine the South Facing sectors on the right bank of the Segre in what is generally known as Camarasa.

From the village of Camarasa follow the C-13 northwards for approximately 3.5km to where it enters a tunnel. Immediately after the tunnel the road crosses the dam of the Camarasa reservoir. There is a small parking area on the dam itself with room for 2-3 vehicles but if that is already occupied then continue driving through a second short tunnel to more spacious parking areas on both sides of the road (P7).
🚶♂️On foot, walk back through the tunnels (there are narrow pavements but care is still needed).
🧗♂️ El Túnel (L'Aiguabarreig)
Approximately 20m after exiting the lower tunnel step over the crash barrier on the valley side of the road then drop down a few metres to a path heading back leftwards to a short concrete staircase leading up to the start of the sector (8 minutes). Orientation: southeast — shade later in the day.
🧗♂️Mongetae
Approximately 20m after exiting the lower tunnel step over the crash barrier on the valley side of the road then drop down a few metres to a path heading back leftwards to a short concrete staircase leading up to the start of sector El Túnel (L’Aiguabarreig). From just below the characteristic arch on this sector a narrow trail leads steeply downhill. Follow this, first leftwards and then back right until close to the river. Continue along the now level trail, keeping just above the river, to reach the sector (15 minutes from P7).
Orientation: southeast. Note: although this sector has an orientation of southeast, it lies so deep in the canyon that during the winter months it stays permanently shaded.
🧗♂️El Solarium
Approximately 20m after exiting the lower tunnel step over the crash barrier on the right-hand side of the road (almost directly opposite the access point for sector El Túnel (L'Aiguabarreig) to the start of a well-marked footpath heading diagonally across the hillside. This path passes directly above the road, steadily gaining height as it progresses. Not only is it extremely exposed in places (unsuitable for small children!) but great care must also be exercised in order to avoid kicking loose stones onto the road below. After approximately 200m a side path cuts off steeply to the right, leading up to the right-hand side of El Solarium (12 minutes from P7). For the central and left-hand parts of the sector stay on the lower path for a further 70m to a second trail cutting off to the right (15 minutes). Orientation: southeast.
🧗♂️La Cova de L’Escaleta
Approximately 200m beyond the left-hand side of the main part of El Solarium, it is possible to scramble up to the base of La Cova de L’Escaleta using a short, fixed rope (20 minutes from P7). Orientation: southeast. Note 1: routes 20-25 on this sector are situated at the top of a gully and are reached by ascending a short via ferrata and some fixed ropes. The gully is rather dirty and great care must be taken to avoid kicking loose earth and stones down.
