Despite living in its relative early days, La Falesia del Gorilla has already established itself as the Finale go-to crag for soft, funny though superb quality rock routes. Being one of the fewest soft crag in the area, it has become very popular among novices and weekend-only climbers.
Routes are among 12 and 40 mt long, counting a multi-pitch line of two lengths spanning 37 mt. Short, hands and foot good holds routes are the standard here, though featuring the world-famous Finale riddled rock, sometimes requiring a smearing foot technique. Pockets, pinches and good crimps are plentiful too.
Even though the crag can be very crowded in the mornings on weekends and during summertime, rock quality is superb and routes are not polished yet .The base is flat and comfy for belaying, ideal for families and rock climbing courses.
