Description
Gufelalpe could be one of the most popular bouldering areas in the northern alps - if it wasn't for that dreadful approach! The high-alpine setting at over 2000m elevation is beautiful, including a waterfall, green alpine meadow and a small lake. Several clusters of large limestone boulders stretch over two high valleys, with sharp, grippy pockets and crimps, steep roofs, overhangs and slabs. There is potential for many more problems especially in the upper valley around the lake. At night, the stars shine bright.
