Incredible Alpine Granite Area. Fantastic Bouldering with lots of potential for development. Independence Mine is a state Histric Site, so please be respectful as you approach the boulders. Additionally, the last set of buildings (furthest up the valley) is an active family owned mine called Gold Chord Mine. Most of the valley near the Captain Kaboom boulders is private property.
