Popular area due to its proximity to the Gandalf campsite. Sunny aspect and quick drying. Most likely more problems than the ones presented here have been climbed over the years, but these are the most obvious and
frequently climbed ones. Solid rock and mostly good landings make the problems worth trying out. An evening session with some friends at the Randalf wall is almost inevitable if Gandalf is your base camp.
The Randalf boulder is almost as classic as the Presten Boulders. It has served as a perfect playground for afternoon/evening/night sessions for climbers camping in the area. Who has done what remains a mystery, as usual in Lofoten.
From Rørvika and the E10, follow the 816 road towards Henningsvær. After about 5 km you will find yourself at the parking at Festvåg.
Note: The old parking that was on the right side of the road is no longer available, park at the large Festvåg parking further down the road. To reach the Randalf wall go back to the old parking space and follow a path that leads down towards the ocean. The other boulders are situated on the other side of the road, below the rope climbing wall of Gandalf.
