Most walls are facing north more or less. Best season is summer and autumn. Though you can catch some sun in wintertime at the upper stage at "Stumpfelstein"

"Stumpfelstein" dries quiet fast, especially when there's some wind going. At the higher exposed sections at "Hexenküche"" you might be lucky after rain. But there's no rain proof route.

Only "Hexenküche" is good with kids. Access is short and suitable for buggies. The base is not flat but okay though.

Next Camping is Oma Eichler in "Obertrubach". Accommodation is in Hiltpoltstein itself. For shopping you can go to "Hiltpoltstein" or for bigger shopping better go to "Gräfenberg" few km west.
