The area is access sensitive!
With regards to access at the High Village boulders in Goseong, South Korea, at this time it is uncertain whether the land is open to the public or considered land controlled by the military (as much of the land in the northern reaches of South Korea are once you get closer to the DMZ). Locals are working to assure that access can be granted for boulderers in this area, but in the meantime, we suggest that you visit this area with caution and respect, keep noise down to a minimum, practice a leave-no-trrace ethic including taking out everything you pack in and removing tick marks/chalk from the boulders. Your consideration of the area's potential access sensitivity will go a long way in helping assure we can boulder here in the years to come. Enjoy responsibly.
