From Radium: Take Forsters Landing Rd to Horsethief Creek Rd, staying on Horsethief Creek Rd. until it meets Forster Creek Forest Service rd. These two roads split again and you need to take the Horsethief Creek Rd. which heads West. Make sure you do NOT take the Forster Creek Forest Service Rd north at the junction. Follow Horsethief Creek rd for about 30km where you will take a left onto the road that heads into the valley. If you keep going straight you end up at the popular Lake of Hanging Glaciers trail head. Take this road for about 10 more kilometers until you reach a clearing at the base of Mt. Peter. There are plenty of places to park on the road and the boulders are immediately to the left with no approach.
The roads are heavily used by logging trucks and are usually snow covered until the end of May. This is a fairly newly established area developed by the locals climbers.
