Description
Killeri is a nice bouldering area with easy access when all of the blocks are right beside the road. Rock quality is rough but solid although the main attraction Painajainen 7C+ (was 8A) has endured few breakages during the years. Killeri offers bouldering from 6A to 7C+, but most of the quality lines are between 7A-7B.
Most of the rock faces north, but dries surprisingly fast after rain and winter. Road to the main area is not maintained during the winter so prepare to walk or shovel your way to Painajainen. Notable exception is Murtomaa (both line and boulder) which is climbable very early in autumn when there is still lots of snow on the ground .
