Easier routes with moderate but rebolted protection is what you get here. There are some harder better protected routes, as well. Climbing is mostly vertical on cracks and pockets.

Most walls are facing north more or less. "Daggi Wöhrl Ged.-Wand" makes an exception, here you can get sun in late afternoon in early autumn. Best season is summer and autumn.

All sectors need a long time to dry. Best rain proof sector is the right part of "Pressknockwände"

All sectors are okay with kids. Accesses are not to long. Only the last meters are unsuitable for buggies and bases are quite flat.

Recommended Restaurant is "Gasthof Drei Linden" in "Bärnfels" where you get classical franconian food.

Swimming pool is in "Betzenstein". Really recommended swimming pool is the natural swimming pool in Gößweinstein, and it's free.
