Description

Bouldering: Brutal, powerful, bouldering on pockets. The main wall overhangs 50-80 degrees and is between 3-7 meters high. A true gem of a wall with some really nice moves and lines. There is also remaining potential for some hard problems on the main wall, or in the forest in the area. However, some of the undeveloped boulders and walls may have somewhat mixed rock quality.

Sport Climbing: There are 3 bolted routes on the wall above the bouldering wall. "Kraftwerkruta" is a beautiful route with great rock quality - A classic, yet rarely repeated. The wall also holds potential for more bolted routes

History

First discovered by Pål Reiten in the mid 90s. Remained dormant for many years until it got developed by a handful of people in the early 2000s; Mats Mosti, Thomas Vekve, Torstein Eide, and Eivind Wang. The brutal style of the bouldering along with the location close to a power plant, gave inspiration to the many straight forward, hardcore, German, names.
