Crimpy slabs on perfect rock quality can be found together with hard sloper-pressing overhanging climbs in all grades.

This is a typical summer spot. The main wall is faced north and very shady. A small section is faced south, as well, so there's some climbing possible in wintertime.

Due to the compact surface the crag dries surprisingly quick. Better wait until spring though, there are a lot of cracks and shady dihedrals which can soak for long time.

Next Camping is in "Betzenstein". As well as a good tavern. If you go further towards the motorway you get all shopping facilities you may need. Another good Restaurant is located in "Obertrubach", just a few km west.
