🧗♂️ Fjälkinge is the small village you pass through on your way to Kjugekull — but also these parts have some cool blocs, which can be worthy of a stop! Either as warm up when going to Kjuge, or as a cool down when heading home, whatever you choose it's good fun seeing some new boulders and getting off of the beaten path — if even just for a bit!
🧗♂️ Lillis backe is a small area, just outside of Fjälkinge with a couple of nice boulders and a tall wall hosting some interesting lines. Most of the problems are of easy to moderate difficulty with flat landings and a pleasant 5 min approach through open pastures. The climbing style is rather similar to Kjugekull with techy crimpy climbing, although several lines have some interesting feature, like "Solens tempel" where stemming is required or "Stjärnfall" which offers delicate pebble wrestling high up! Stop by and sample some goodies!
🧗♂️ On the opposite side of the Fjälkinge hill lies Bockastenarna, an old rediscovered area with a couple really good climbs – some of which would be classics even in Kjuge! The style is varied with crimps as well as compression and not always the usual solutions... Most of the lines are also obvious and moderately tall. Here you'll find both enjoyable easier climbs and some tougher sevens.
