No special access issues
❗ Note: The area is close to wind turbines and should be avoided if there is risk for ice build-up on the wind turbine wings. Please read the warning signs. Ice that separates from the wings can fly 100 meters or more and can be deadly. The small wall "Källhallen" and the proposed parking are both withing the danger zone.
🚘 The area is about 35 minutes drive from both Kalmar and Nybro and about 22 minutes from Mönsterås. It is easiest to access via the big gravel road west of the area which can be entered from Allmogevägen if you are coming from the south and from Lamnehult if your are coming from the north.
Parking 🅿️ and approach paths are marked on the map 🗺️. It is possible to park close to both walls and the approach is ~50 meters for Källhallen and ~100 meters for Vårtallsberget.
To prevent access issues please:
• Follow "Allemansrätten".
• Be very careful to not hurt tree plants or other sensitive vegetation.
• Drive carefully and park where you don't block access for other vehicles.
• Do not litter.
• Keep a low profile.
• Remove tick marks and excessive chalk on holds.
• Be observant of any hunting in the area. If there is hunting going on then do not climb. Avoid the area during the first week(s) of elk hunting season which starts October 8.
