No special access issues
Arrival:
Coming from Finalborgo, SP17 route heading to Calice Ligure. 1.8 km after the roundabout close to Finalborgo, take the road coming back to the right with indications to Perti / Perti Alta. Drive for 1.5 km and get to Perti, which is the main car park of this area.
Sectors:
Walk North direction over the entrance of the Sant’Eusebio church. 270 meters ahead there is the second car park. Main road for 1.1 km and reach a space with olive trees and the signal Contrada Valle.
From here, the trails describe a ring route that leads to all the sectors. Monte Sordo is the half of the ring.
CCW
Go right, cross the bridge. Go through the houses and head to North. Keep the right and take the uphill path (3 red dots and indications to S. Antonino).
180 meters, at the left hairpin bend, the trace on the right leads to 3’ Livello and Falesia del Kaimano (fixed ropes).
Keep walking up to the 6th hairpin bend for the others.
Go downhill left to Placca delle case valle.
Otherwise, keep the right, get on the top end of Placca delle case valle where there is a junction.
Go right to reach Antri rossi, Bric Scimarco, Grotta di Sant’Antonino, Rovine and Zambaland (keep an eye on the topos trails here).
Left leads to Placca delle case valle, right to another junction.
Go right to reach the first entrance of Grotta dell’Edera (rappel down) and some routes of Parete dimenticata.
Go left to Parete dimenticata. Here inside the cave there is the second entrance of Grotta dell’Edera (it is necessary to climb up the slippery ramp and then go through a narrow hole in the cave roof).
Continue walking along Parete dimenticata to reach Placca d’angolo, then Lo Specchio and finally Monte Sordo.
CW
Go straight. After 500 meters there is a wayside shrine.
Right path leads to some houses and then to sector Falesia della Lumaca (left first junction, right at the second). By going right from here it is possible to reach Monte Sordo.
Go straight at the shrine and 500 meters after there is a bend with a forbidden car park. First road to the right, reach the houses and then go over the small church. Go right, then over the river and get to a junction.
Go left if your goal is Pilastro Mirovino, Grotta della Pollera, Avatar or Scoglio di Avalon (at the next stony wall go right to reach the first two, while straight for the last ones).
Otherwise right. Follow the path with the red dot that leads to a stony portal.
On the left there is Tecchie sector
On the right another junction. Go left (red dot) to Alveare sector.
From here go left to reach La scaletta, then up to the fixed rope to get to Lo scorpione, while go right to reach Placca and Pilastro di Mu.
Continue walking through the trees South-East direction to reach Monte Sordo.
La Boulangerie is on the left side of Monte Sordo. Continue walking North along the wall to reach a junction. Keep the right and get to La Gourmanderie.
