Description

The only sport climbing crag in Uddevalla with some really good routes (mostly in the hard grades).

The crag was developed during 2013, mostly by Mikael Ylinen and Daniel Jacobs. Recently (2020/2021) there has been a lot activity a the crag with many new routes in the making.

ASPECT AND CLIMATE
The crag is facing south. The lower left and right part of the crag are in the shade from the trees. The middle is in the sun and gets very warm in the summer. The routes get dry rather quickly.

THE ROUTES
The routes are 10-15 m high. All but one are bolted and equipped with lower-offs. The harder routes are often slightly overhanging while the easier ones are a bit slabby.

The area is access sensitive!

Park at the IKEA parking lot. No other parking is ok!

As usual please show respect to animals and people living nearby during the approach and on the crag by not screaming, swearing, playing music etc.

🚗
From Göteborg take the E6 northwards. Leave the motorway at exit 96.2, Torpmotet (signs for IKEA) and follow the signs for IKEA. Park the car on the back side of IKEA.
The drive is about 80 km.
🚶‍♀️
From the parking lot follow the left edge of the meadow for about 50-70 m and turn left into the woods. Follow the path and you’ll see some small crags on the left. Continue over a barbed wire (on the ground) and you should spot the crag to the left between the trees.
The whole walk-in is about 600 m.
