Classic Sundsvall crag. Perfect spring, autumn crag for sport in grades 5 to 8b.
Midskogsberget is situated along the river Ljungan approximately 20km from Sundsvall. The southern facing rock face give us a long season from early spring to late autumn. A crag that offers a little bit of everything sport, mix, trad, long, short slab and overhang. A perfect crag that suits both beginners and experienced climbers.
The area also have a number of interesting boulders of varying difficulty.
There is a small shelter at Lägerväggen where you can camp for the night. There is no source of water but it is close to the road so it is no big problem to carry it with you. There is a few fire pits situated along the walls.
You can find Allstaforsens Camping 3km from the crag with small cottages and a camping ground.
Midskogsberget is a protected nature area so please be extra carefull to not leave any traces of your visit.
