An all day crag in a beautiful location with opposing faces, plus caves and walls in an airy location
Symblegades Petres is multifaceted crag so climbing in the shade or sun is possible all day, it offers pleasant climbing in the mid-grades.
Continue along the track followinf the cairns to the yawning cave of Ourania, with more difficult technical climbing.
After the cave are the routes of Mystere with grades ranging from 5-7, mostly steep or slightly overhanging.
Just across the valley floor on the left is a new sector Snake Valley, not good if you have ophidiophobia although I didn't encounter any real snakes. Mostly short varied climbing, graded 6-7, once again multifaceted allows shade.
Pyramid, Little big wall and Hump piste with their easier routes are just a little further down the hillside and can be found following the cairns and paint markers.
