Driving into Hægefjell, use the markers on the map and drive responisibly and with caution. The roads from Treungen are quite narrow and has a lot of corners where meeting traffic can be a bit tight. The last 13 kilomoters are on dirt/gravel roads. Keep speed down to reduce wear on the road.

New updated toll information: From June 2024 there is now automatic toll registration on Borstadvegen driving in to Hægefjell. Register at www.youpark.no in advance or latest within 48 hours after passing to avoid paying the extra 59 nok getting a paper invoice sent to you.

(Old toll information: About halfway in on the dirt/gravel road you must pay a toll for using the road up to Hægefjell. You can pay with cash, Vipps or PayPal.)

Check the Facebook group for updated info about payments, if the road is open after the winter, and for other info: https://www.facebook.com/groups/climbinginnissedal

🅿️ Parking:
Parking is available close to the campground and mountain at the end the road.

🏕️ Camping:
The forest at Landtakdammen below Hægefjell has many good options for putting up tents. It is a forest campground, and not flat grass like you might find at a regular camping. There are a few small bonfire places, a simple toilet and rubbish bins. You must also pay for camping. The fees are per night and you find information around the toilet at the parking. Use the facilities and please pay the fees to keep it maintained and open. Without the facilities, it would have been shit and garbage around, and not such a nice spot.
