Climbing has been limited!

The Oplotnica bouldering area is located on the southern slopes of Pohorje, just above Čezlak and around 4 km from the town of Oplotnica.

Parking: Use the designated public parking spots along the roadside near the sectors. However, due to ongoing roadworks, it’s recommended to park in front of the Čezlak factory and approach the sectors from there. Please park responsibly and avoid blocking forest tracks or private driveways.

Approach: From the parking area, follow the marked forest paths leading to the sectors. Depending on which sector you choose, the walk takes 10–20 minutes. Signs or clear landmarks will guide you to well-known spots such as Piknik plac, Fotr, and Hiša.

Public vs. Private Land: While parking is on public land, most boulders lie on private property. Please respect the landowners’ generosity by staying on marked trails, avoiding unnecessary noise, and leaving no litter.

Environmental Etiquette: Stick to established trails, minimize erosion, and always follow leave-no-trace principles to help maintain good relations with local landowners.

Tip: While climbing is possible throughout the year, spring and late autumn usually offer the best friction on Oplotnica’s smooth volcanic rock.
