Covel Pejo is a great Summer climbing destination, located on the ski slopes of the Pejo facility.
The area is stunning.
• The sport sector overlooks a beautiful lawn, surrounded by peaks higher than 3000 meters. The lawn is cut by a stream and a nice waterfall can be easily reached in a couple of minutes from the sector. The crag suits strong climbers, looking for high difficulties on overhanging walls, and first timers or children. In fact the Overhangs sector has steep crimpy lines with many lines on the 8b difficulty. The lines on the 7c grade are quite tough. The Slabs sector has really easy lines on compact slabs. The overhanging sector is shady during the morning and some hours after noon, while the slabs are all day in the sun.
• The boulder has some interesting lines, some of them are really overhanging. Difficulties from 6A to 7A, the boulder is quite shady.
The rock in the area is rough and very ferrous, friction is good.
Covel Pejo, thanks to the height of 1850 meters, is a Summer spot. The really easy approach and the comfortable base, make this place a good destination to enjoy a whole day here, also for families.
All the mountains around this area are beautiful and deserve a visit. There is a nice cableway called Pejo 3000 starting from Pejo fonti and reaching the height of 3000 meters above sea level.

Covel Pejo è una fantastica destinazione per l'arrampicata estiva, situata sulle piste da sci del comprensorio di Pejo. L'area è davvero stupenda.
• La falesia si affaccia su un bellissimo prato, circondato da vette superiori ai 3000 metri. Il prato è attraversato da un torrente ed è possibile raggiungere una bella cascata facilmente e in pochi minuti partendo dal settore. La falesia è adatta agli arrampicatori forti, che cercano alte difficoltà su pareti strapiombanti, e ai principianti o ai bambini. Il settore strapiombante ha linee dure di dita attorno al grado 8b. Le linee di 7c sono piuttosto impegnative. Il settore a placca ha linee davvero facili su placche compatte. Il settore strapiombante è all'ombra durante la mattina e alcune ore dopo mezzogiorno, mentre le placche sono tutto il giorno al sole.
• Il boulder ha alcune linee interessanti, alcune delle quali molto strapiombanti. Difficoltà dal 6A al 7A e la zona è ombreggiata.
La roccia è ruvida e molto ferrosa in quest’area, l'attrito è buono. Covel Pejo, grazie alla sua altitudine di 1850 metri, è un luogo estivo. L'approccio davvero facile e la base confortevole rendono questo luogo una buona destinazione per godersi un’intera giornata, anche per le famiglie.
Tutte le montagne intorno a questa zona sono belle e meritano una visita. C'è una bella funivia chiamata Pejo 3000 che parte da Pejo fonti e raggiunge l'altezza di 3000 metri sul livello del mare.
