Petit Bois 🌳🌳🌳
This is a small and compact area with extremely good rock quality. You can find something for everyone here. There are plenty of really nice and technical easy problems and a few very hard test pieces to try. The area is in a beautiful grove 🍃, hence very shady and a good choice for a sunny and warm day. The area is also located on the north side of the hill so it sees very little sun.
The entire Petit Bois have been recently brushed completely and a new yellow circuit is in progress. But also older ones have been repainted and re-brushed. So it's possible to climb some of the circuits that have been years under moss. To keep it clean, maybe brush a bit if you feel the moss is attacking the problems again!

Circuits in the area:
🟡 Yellow. This is a new one, which by the look of it, is suitable also for kids. It's not been numbered yet (spring 2023).
🟠 Orange AD-. 1-54 long classic circuit which has been repainted and modified recently. Also a lot of the boulders have been re-brushed. Extremely good rock quality and nice problems! This used to be yellow!
🔵 Blue D. This is a very very long circuit. 1-70!!! It features one of the best rock qualities in Bleau and has everything from low small overhanging thingies, to mantles, to quite high slabs and walls.
🔴 Red TD+. The classical sandbag circuit. The numbers are in some cases almost gone, but it's possible to navigate through the circuit. 1-50 long. It has some extremely sandbagged problems so it's hard for the grading.
⚫ Black ED+. An extremely difficult circuit with some outstanding problems. ONE of the hardest circuits in Bleau! It though have some of the most beautiful climbs in it's grade in Fontainebleau! For extremely good climbers only! It's 1-36 long!
👨👩👧👦 The area is extremely family friendly. Strollers can be carried and pushed to the lower part of the area, but because the parking is basically 20 meters from the first boulders, it suits families great.
📶 The reception is also fairly good around. One can obviously always download the guide for offline use to save data!
