The rocks of Avrami, located right above the path leading to “Panas’ Cave”, instantly catch the eye of the passing hiker. The crag’s name comes from the spring located upon the path (Avrami’s spring). The routes are mostly of middle difficulty, making the crag somewhat unsuitable for beginners, while on the other hand, climbers in the 6c to 7b range will enjoy many good lines. The rock is of moderate quality, although frequent climbing has cleared lots of loose parts. Rock quality put aside, visiting guarantees the open views, relative solitude and many interesting routes.
Apart from “Pigi”, routes can be found on adjacent faces arbitarily named by climbers “Spilia” (Cave) and “Tripes” (Holes). The latest addition to the crag, sector “Skliro Agori” (Tough Boy) can be found immediately on the left of the main sector “Pigi”.
