Climbing at Pine Mountain is permitted year-round. Pine Mountain Ridge Road is typically open from Spring until Fall. The gate at the base of the road is closed annually for snow. Don't let that stop you! The best conditions are from October to March and you can always ride a bike up the road or hike Chorro Grande Trail (23W05).
