Introducing Plamproz, a hidden gem nestled at an altitude of 1370m. While winter sees the area covered in snow, the rest of the year offers prime conditions for climbing. Located approximately 40 minutes away by car from Martigny, Plamproz awaits with its unique features.

At Plamproz, climbers will discover a small chaos of boulders, including the renowned boulder BBC. Additionally, there are two isolated boulders that stand out in their own right. Pied de biche, situated next to the river, with incredibly shaped holds that will challenge strong climbers. Meanwhile, ragot FM stands as one of the finest boulders in the entire valley. Its steep wall, adorned with captivating colors and holds, offers a memorable climbing experience.

Despite its smaller size, the quality of the lines at Plamproz is unmatched, making it a destination not to be missed. Situated just below the larger area of Fionnay, Plamproz offers some really good climbing!

History

Théo Chappex opened BBC Brown Bovernier in the early 2000s, followed by Nils Favre's first ascent of Ragot FM in 2011, and Samuel Ometz successfully climbed Pied de biche in 2015 after that "someone" broke the first hold.
