Beautiful natural cliff face facing south east, well exposed to sun so fast drying. Easy access next to a small road with little traffic. The rock is untypically for Finland not granite, but diabase and quite brittle and porous. Easy and clean trad routes, with plenty of development potential still unexplored.
Feel free to open new lines and add topo suggstions, but keep in mind that the wall is in a nature preserve, and cleaning vegetation is not allowed.
According to passers by, the cliff has seen climbers from at least the 90s, but no the current maintainers are not aware of who has originally started developing the routes. Any information on this is warmly welcomed. There are a few home made anchor bolts on top of the cliff, but any additional bolting is forbidden as the cliff is right on the edge of a nature preserve.
The area of the fields before the cliff are old seabed that has gradually become dry land as a result of post-glacial rebound. The cliff is therefore a former coastal cliff and the area had iron age coastal habitation.
