Naviteau is a limestone wall (about 150 meters long) near Montpellier. Although it was originally a playground for local route climbers, we can now find an interesting range of boulders, going from physical overhang lines to technical vertical climbing.
It's not a huge crag but it's a great place to go if you want some rock climbing close to the city.
The small cliff faces north, so most of the rock stays in the shade and is protected by the pine trees. The landings are flat, and the boulders can range from 2 meters to 6 meters in height.
- Anchor points have been placed for the most exposed routes and three old foam pads are available (and should always be stacked under the big overhang in the Cabane sector)
- Fires forbidden
- Stay clean and respect the neighbourhood
