Description

The left side of the crag is about 15 meters high and mainly features slightly overhanging routes. The right side is lower. The crag was rebolted in 2020, and most of the bolts have been replaced with glue-ins.

At Rolvsøy, there's also a lesser-known sector "hattehulene". Climbing has taken place here on and off for many years, but no known routes were led until the late 1990s.
Hattehulene is 15 meters high and consists only of trad routes. There has been little activity here in recent years, so some cleaning should be expected.

History

The Rolvsøy crag was discovered by Asgeir Larsen in 1990, but not much happened there until Espen Lie joined in 2004.
