Description

Rullavuori is a small 10 hectare forest in Kaitaa district of southern Espoo, Finland, and it is easy accessible either by a car or public transportation (1km walk from Finnoo metro station).

Rullavuori provides quite many low-mid grade bouldering problems (grades 3-5), but nowadays there are also more challenging problems on grades 6-7.

SECTORS:
• Papinvuori west – Easy warmups on for beginners. Grades 3-4.
• Kihlmanin keskiö – Nice boulder problems on grades 4-6
• Papinvuori east – More challenging boulder problems on grades 5-6-7
• Etäopetus – Urban and easy and low boulder for kids and beginners (grades 3-4). The boulder is next to the nearby school/parking place and thus therefore outside the Rullavuori forest. The boulder provides super easy access through paved pedestrian street. Do not climb during school is open to avoid any disturbance to school’s operation/studying. Since there are some streetlights, you can climb this boulder even on evenings 💡😄

FUN STUFF:
After sweating on the crags head south for a refreshing swim at the nearby beach. At Rulludden cape you will also find a nice cafeteria&museum Villa Rullud (open daily at summer time, otherwise open only on the first Sunday of a month).
